The smelting process of the submerged arc furnace is as follows:
First, the mixture to be smelted is put into the arc furnace, and air is fed into the arc furnace to heat the mixture. When the mixture is heated to a low internal temperature, the mixture is transformed into tantalum compounds, and the minerals are extracted from the tantalum compounds by electrolysis, so as to achieve the purpose of smelting. The mixture to be smelted and the minerals produced by electrolysis are heated into the arc furnace to continue smelting. When the air flow and temperature regulation Settings are appropriate, the target smelting period reaches the critical point of the reduction of radioactive substances, and a lower concentration of minerals can be obtained. After the heating is stopped, the smelting product is cooled to room temperature, and stored in the warehouse where the final processing is required.
